Job Description

This client facing role will help grow key capabilities aimed at engaging our clients’ audiences: HCPs, payers and patients. Always looking for new ways of engaging audiences, the ideal candidate will be a very seasoned marketer, a strategic thinker and a smart networker with content creators, media companies, media planning agencies, digital production and other players, in order to bring ideas to life.

Key Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible for a variety of duties, including, but not limited to:
• Effectively manage and understand all research relating to audience, brand, culture, and media channels, for patients and HCPs
• Work closely with account management and creative teams to become a valued strategic partner both internally and externally
• Build strategy maps, brand maps, and brand ladders, articulate insights and promises, craft patient/HCP belief continuums and develop personas, as well as build out customer journeys and ecosystems
• Shape brand value proposition, positioning, and promise
• Lead teams in developing compelling, single-minded strategies and briefs that inspire great creative
• Map digital, social or omnichannel eco-systems aimed at engaging audiences through multiple and synchronized touchpoints.
• Proactively recommend research, tools for improvement, immersions, and communication, workshop or research opportunities
• Ensure that deliverables coincide with project strategy, scope, plan, budget, goals, and objectives
• Develop content strategies, aligned with strategic objectives to be disseminated through online and offline tactics
• Define social media strategies, from insights to channel development and ongoing engagement. Characterize how customers do or don’t use each platform and develop perspectives on how a brand should participate in an authentic way.
• Create deliverables such as strategic and creative briefs, tactical plans, content strategy presentations, CX strategy plans, ect
• Present and communicate complex programs and strategies in concise, digestible way to brand clients
• Conceptualize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects
• Actively support the new business process

Job Requirements

• Minimum years of experience: 7+ years of recent experience in account planning, brand strategy, digital strategy in the healthcare and/or pharma space. Agency experience a plus
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in business related field. Advanced or Master’s degree in advertising or communications related field a plus
• Deep experience with patient marketing and professional HCP marketing
• Pharma brand launch experience a plus (specialty or rare disease category preferred)
• Experience in CRM/eCRM, social media, mobile, SEM/SEO including display and behavioral targeting/retargeting required
• Solid knowledge of integrated marketing and digital disciplines (including audience identification and analysis, targeting, experience design, digital production, and online analytics)
• Adept in a variety of marketing research tools and methodologies – from new ways of leveraging technology to conduct primary research, to 3rd party research, secondary and social listening
• Proven ability to generate creative and progressive ideas; strategic thinking and solid analytical skills
• Able to understand and articulate brand challenges and reframe into creative strategy
• Strong passion for and knowledge of technology, and emerging media (e.g., blockchain, AI, VR/AR)
• Exceptional team player with the confidence and integrity to earn client and internal team confidence quickly
• Excellent presentation and deck writing skills with ability to organize and lead workshops
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in an environment that requires regular evaluation and negotiation of priorities
• Demonstrated ability to deliver outputs and results according to a project timeline.
• Well-developed influencing and consensus-building skills. Able to manage through ambiguity in a fast-moving environment
• Must be fully authorized to work in the US
