Job Description

As a Senior Business Analyst, you’ll be responsible for leading requirements definition, solution design, configuration, and deployment of Salesforce.

You’ll need excellent analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with the ability to identify, document, and recommend answers to complex business problems. Accuracy and clarity are vital.

You’ll be working alongside some of the most experienced Salesforce talent in the industry at client firms full of sharp domain experts who expect top-quality work.

On a typical project, you’ll be doing some or all of the following:

  • Leading clients through workshops to discover, define, and prioritize requirements.
  • Analyzing the existing business & system domain then recommending changed or new business processes.
  • Documenting requirements concisely and precisely using your technical knowledge to translate those requirements into a clear system design.
  • Developing and maintaining essential documentation: functional specifications (or user stories, or use cases, depending on the assignment), design documentation, and Salesforce configuration.
  • Creating, and then managing the execution of, tests plans.
  • Defining and managing training for end users and system administrators.
  • Helping the project manager define success criteria, scope, schedules, and deliverables for the engagement.

Job Requirements

Required Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Critical thinking skills and attention to detail
  • Systems and business process modeling expertise.
  • Significant experience (4+ years) as a Salesforce business analyst with experience of all stages of the software lifecycle
  • 6+ years of consulting experience
  • configuration experience
  • Sales Cloud Implementation experience is a must
  • Practical knowledge of other CRM software (Oracle, SugarCRM, Rightnow, Dynamics, etc.)
  • Practical knowledge in ERP system
  • History at another consulting firm (i.e. you know how to consult) and/or time spent within a large enterprise (so you appreciate the complex challenges of our enterprise customers)
  • An appreciation of different software methodologies (waterfall, flavors of agile) and related tools
    Skills with data integration tools and/or Extract, Transformation, and Load (ETL) tools
  • Certified in Sales Cloud and Advanced Administrator
