Job Description

We currently seek an Data Analytic Project Manager with the following background:

Responsible for management, coordination and leading the implementation of complex projects under defined constraints.  Oversees all aspects of projects; manages schedule, sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, monitors and summarizes progress of project, assesses team resources, and escalates issues quickly when they exist. Builds and maintains strong working relationships with client resources, team members, vendors, and other entities involved in the projects. Prepares reports for upper management and client stakeholders regarding status of project. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
 
Responsibilities
  • Should show Master Level proficiency in project execution.
  • Understand the scope of work, manage to that scope
  • Creation, management and updates to Project Plan in conjunction with client and team leads
  • Managing scope, plan, budget and forecast
  • Manage change orders effectively with client
  • Reporting of project status and budget to client and Director of Project Management
  • Ownership of all deliverables on client projects
  • Facilitate project team discussions capturing notes and action items as appropriate.
  • Serve as the liaison between software development team and client
  • Consistently interact with clients regarding project status, questions and requests
  • Provide weekly internal project status focused on issues, risks and risk mitigation
  • Coordinate internal project alignment meetings

Job Requirements

Skills and Knowledge


  • 6-10 years experience as a consulting project management

  • Ability to pay very close attention to details

  • Ability to plan and organize the entire implementation team, both on shore and off shore.

  • Engage as the primary interface to the client; must be organized and capable of effectively reporting status and working with the client to resolve issues. 

  • Shows the ability to quickly analyze a situation and provide an effective remedy in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

  • For complex issues, shows the ability to effectively escalate the situation to the appropriate resources to identify the correct resolution.

  • Possesses the ability to interpret company guidelines in order to provide effective solutions to uncommon issues.

  • Displays familiarity with issue and risk management process

  • Possesses good listening skills

  • Must have a strong dedication to customer service and be able to lead a team of individuals by example.


Other Desired Skills


  • Reporting and analytics experience

  • Pharmaceutical data experience, especially in the sales and marketing space

  • Pharmaceutical specialty pharmaceutical and syndicated data experience

  • Data warehousing, MDM, Aggregation and Reporting experience

  • Data quality assessment and resolution experience



Educational Requirement:



  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with specialization in an information technology field (e.g., Computer/Management Information Systems (MIS/CIS), Computer Science (CS), Electrical/Computer Engineering (EE/CE), or an equivalent combination of related education and work experience.
